Meet Emma...

Emma has coached everything from Under 6s hockey – introducing hockey to nursery, reception and year 1 children, through to coaching current GB Internationals Ellie Rayer and Anna Toman at regional performance centres and at the England Hockey Futures Cup. Coaching both indoor and outdoor hockey, Emma has a huge range of experience with regards to age and ability.

Emma started out as a Personal Trainer and worked with clients for many years focusing on their fitness goals, flexibility, speed and other personal targets. This experience allows her to incorporate fitness work into hockey sessions for those who request it.

As a qualified teacher, Emma has worked in many schools and has a professional approach to her sessions. She is trained in safeguarding and child welfare and is also DBS checked (more information available on request).

What we offer...

1:1 sessions...

For players 18 and under who want focussed sessions to improve specific skills such as hitting, elimination skills, goal scoring, penalty corner skills or fitness based hockey sessions.  Sessions are 1 hour long and can be at a variety of venues.  Costs vary depending on venue.

Small group sessions...

For 2 or more players, sessions can be focused on a particular skill that all of the attendees want to work on, or team focused if the players are all part of a team.  Sessions can focus on formations and tactics, individual skills or gameplay skills.  Sessions can be 1 or 2 hours long and at a variety of venues.  Costs vary depending on numbers and venue.

School package...

A 2 hour slot each week for a whole term, delivering hockey to 2 classes (1 hour per class) on a playground or flat grass area.  At the end of each term, the school will be invited to an end of term tournament at a local hockey pitch to play against other schools.

After school hockey club can also be arranged with either schools or individual pupils paying to attend.

Holiday camps...

Holiday camps run throughout the year, Easter and Summer camps being outdoor and October and February camps being indoor.  We offer camp days for Y3-Y8 (10am-3pm) and half day camps for Reception, Y1 & Y2. Camps are led by Emma and her team at a variety of venues and incorporate a range of fun activities such as using rebound boards, Crazy Catch and Hockey Smash as well as skills sessions and gameplay.
